@tennmuerti: For real tho, should I see the movie? I can never tell if people are joking or serious about this movie but they always seem to have fun talking about it.
Let's say the worst does happen, in either scenario I think I'd rather be a Necromorph zombie, I may get killed at some point and who knows how cognizant you are after your infected anyways. In Event Horizon I feel like your soul is literally being trapped forever in HELL I don't want that, even if The Marker keeps your mind trapped in it forever it can't be as bad as Hell where everything is designed to be the worst it can be for all eternity.
I want to be excited I really do, but I just can't help but feel like it is going to be the exact same game, honestly worse because I played the beta and the game didn't feel that great to play which is strange because Destiny 1 certainly felt good to play, they also dumbed everything down to the point of where the loot might feel even more pointless.
Also, One Raid, at least the raid is actually in the game at launch this time but I can't help but feel this is a key piece of evidence that this game isn't actually going to be that much bigger than Destiny 1.
I long ago lost interest in CoD, but I LOVE WW2 and this looks like a really nice WW2 game so I am hopeful it turns out good, I doubt the Multiplayer will keep me around but a modern WW2 campaign is something I would like to play through, I know its pandering but that PING sound at the end of trailers tells me they know what I want.
I loved it, I don't know how anyone can complain the show kicks all kinds of ass, the only complaint I could "understand" was the sand snakes ladies they were a little cheese but hardly out of tone and I never even thought about it till it was brought up as a weak point, I am just a pure fanboy of the show at this point I don't know what they could do to make me dislike it.
stripped of its original Japanese charm, particularly from a visual-design standpoint.
Monster Hunter has always been gaudy and low res it is nice to see their vision taken to the extreme from a visual standpoint no idea why you would want it to look the way they have.
Appealing art direction and designs do not inherently equal good graphics, especially from a technical perspective. I like the current character, item, world, and monster designs in the series, as well as some of the other little quirks like cat companions. If the game overall adopts a generic, western fantasy aesthetic, then I don't really care whether it's been made presentable for HD screens.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree, I think the art direction and designs in MH have generally been terrible which is why I choose the word gaudy. The new look is more "realistic" but for a game about hunting giant animals I want it to not look like I am fighting cartoon dinosaurs while wearing my reject Final Fantasy garb.
