@danielkempster: Hey thanks for the thoughts! This will indeed be a blog thing. This list is kind of just my secret (not so secret) planning space, haha.
Also, I still haven't figured out the angle I want to take on this because I know a lot of these games are from 15-20 years ago and will probably feel very dated. I think a game can feel dated and still be awesome, though. I might end up applying a very loose "science," similar to what Jeff and Jason do with Ranking of Fighters.
What's up, man? Just wanted to let you know I think this is a really good idea for a blog series. Just read your Resistance entry, and will read through WipEout shortly. If I had a criticism, the Resistance blog seemed like it could have been tightened up a little bit by omitting menu descriptions and such. On the other hand I can appreciate the depth and detail you go into on your history with a game and whatnot, so hey.
Anyway, you've always been a top-tier blogger here, and it's good to see you're still doin' it.
Newb question: If I go premium, can I get the Bombcast/Beastcast on my iTunes without the ads? I listen to them on an iPod.
Yes. You'll have to enter the feed information manually and enter your GB username and password in the process, but yes. Separate premium feeds do exist. I think there's a guide to this on the forums somewhere.
