I feel it's important to point out that, while charging for New Game+ is scummy, what they're talking about is NOT the Premium Adventure mode that has always been a part of the Yakuza series. That mode is still available as soon as you finish the game. New Game+ is actually (afaik) something new for the Like a Dragon series.

I was worried this announcement meant that previously free content was being taken away from us, but that ended up not being true.

@chamurai: I know that, at least in the promo material, references to Spike have been made. There's this website for Mario & Luigi's plumbing business and Spike left a bad review on it. Wonder if they'll leave it at that though.

I'm using it, albeint begrudingly. It has its hooks in me because I'm like "well I gotsta have my shiny spinny 3d model!" but I'm so annoyed you can't do anything with them.

I miss PlayStation Home :/

It does make sense, I suppose. I never really did anything with them since I already owned most of the games. May is at least far enough away for folks to claim them.

The game I'm trying to remember is one that opens up with a voice line that, I think, went "Love me...I want you to love me!", spoken by a very distressed lady.

I thought it was Valkyrie Profile but booting that up, it doesn't ring a bell. I think it is PSX era though. Any ideas?

I had to come to terms with the online multiplayer being shown in split-screen. On the one hand, I understand that it helps to solve the puzzles, because you can just have one player look at the puzzle hint and the other can solve it while glancing over, but I think I would rather have it full screen for both players to and rely on voice communication to solve. We Were Here and its sequels do that to great effect.

But, that's that and this is this, so I'll come back with my thoughts based on what's actually in the game.
